Image
Hello, my dear readers! Welcome back to another blog post of the myth-buster series and I hope you would be loving reading it. If you have not seen my first part of this myth-buster series then you can click here to read that. So, once again let us begin this journey of myth-busting: MYTH #1: Bulls become ferocious on seeing red colour. This is a thing which children are taught since their child, whether from their peer group, parents or TV Cartoons. This myth is not at all true. Moreover, bulls and other cattle are partial colour-blind and are unable to see the colour red properly. The only reason the bulls get angry by a person showing him red clothes is not because of the red colour but due to their inciting behaviour.  So, from next time do not believe in such things blindly🧐 MYTH #2: Duck's quacks don't Echo. Hmm, First of all, what do you think about this? Isn't it illogical? This is the most illogical thing I have ever heard of. It isn't that the ducks quack...

5 Scientific Myths Which Must be Busted: Part-1

Image
Hello my dear readers, welcome to my blog. Today we are gonna discuss some prevalent science myths that must be busted and require correct reasoning. If you have not followed or subscribed to my blog then please do it or you will miss such interesting content in the future. So, let us begin our journey of debunking these myths!!! MYTH #1: If a penny (coin) is dropped from the empire state building, it can kill a person standing below it. This is the most prevalent myth in the world. It even sounds realistic when we hear it at first. We all have learnt Newton's equations of motions in our schools and it is one of its application. The height of the empire state building is around 400m so if we calculate the final velocity of the coin, it would be around 90 m/s which is around 324 km/h 😲. It is a really high speed. But does the impact depends on the speed? Hmmmmmmmm, No. The impact of anybody depends on its momentum and if we find its momentum it would be very less as its mass is ve...

Image
I fear the day when technology will surpass our human intervention. The world will have a generation of idiots. This is a quote from the year 1995 and I think that time has come. Nowadays, we spend much of our time using social media. So without wasting time let us start. What was the motive of social media? The first social media website was made in 1997 named SixDegrees.com (it is still in use).
